2024 Chevrolet Trax–The Chevy Trax has previously been renowned for its low starting price and snack-size dimensions. The Trax makes a triumphant comeback as a brand-new model with a stunning facelift, more space, and improved safety features, just as quickly as Chevy stopped its production run. An automatic six-speed transmission and 137 horsepower, three-cylinder turbocharged engine power every Trax, which is front-wheel driven. It uses the smaller Trailblazer’s drivetrain and takes design cues from the mid-size Blazer. After the small Kia Soul and the Hyundai Venue, the new Trax will continue to be produced at GM’s South Korean assembly factory thanks to its low starting price.

The longer, lower, and broader platform of the Trax made it possible to design the cabin with sweeping lines and light, technical elements that emphasize the vehicle’s width and give it an airy atmosphere. The low instrument panel improves outward visibility and adds to the airy impression while providing depth with a technological texture pattern that sweeps across. Other components, including the recognizable round vents and others, are inspired by other contemporary Chevy performance vehicle designs. The infotainment panel is canted slightly toward the driver for more intuitive control, and display screens in general make up the bulk of the futuristic design. While the LT, 2RS, and ACTIV trims have an 11-inch-diagonal infotainment color touchscreen and an 8-inch-diagonal driver information center, the LS and 1RS trims have an 8-inch-diagonal infotainment color touchscreen.
2024 Chevrolet Trax Engine
Every Chevrolet Trax is equipped with a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 137 horsepower and a six-speed automated transmission. Under the hood of the Chevy Trailblazer is the same powertrain. This is the sole available engine, and it only supports front-wheel drive. Although the Trax is slightly bigger than the Trailblazer, the most recent Trailblazer we tested was all-wheel drive and could reach 60 mph in 9.4 seconds, which required patience. When we eventually test the Trax, we anticipate it to perform around the same.
2024 Chevrolet Trax Price & Release date
The all-new 2024 Chevrolet Trax goes on sale in the spring of 2023. The 2024 Trax will start at $21,495 for an LT grade, which is $1,400 less than the price of the outgoing model. With more trims, the highest starting price will be $24,995. The far more compact Spark hatchback, which starts at less than $15,000, is the only Chevrolet model that is less priced than the Trax. All prices include required destination fees.
