2024 Kia Seltos–When the redesigned Kia Seltos first emerged in June, it only offered a brief peek of the new style and few other specifics. However, the LA Auto Show has just revealed the small crossover, and we have lots to say about it.
2024 Kia Seltos Exterior
Since Kia’s X-Line trim has been so well received, it only seems logical that it has been added permanently to the lineup. Unique 18-inch wheels, a special grille with a gunmetal finish, gloss black door garnishes, X-Line badging, and other features are included with this high-end trim level. It will be offered alongside the current LX, S, EX, and SX models, all of which get new wheel styles. Customers can anticipate three new colors: Pluton Blue, Fusion Black, and Valais Green, in addition to the updated exterior styling. The 2024 Seltos, according to Steven Center of Kia, “serves as the excellent entryway into our bigger and more capable SUVs when the consumer is ready to step up” since it is “loaded with standout style, some of the latest technology, superior driver support systems, and energetic performance.”
2024 Kia Seltos Interior
The 2024 Seltos’ inside hasn’t seen much modification, but the segment-first panoramic screen display looks classy and organizes the space. It is made up of a 10.25 inch center display and a 10.25 inch instrument cluster. The conventional 4.2-inch cluster is an improvement, but a digital gauge display is an option. The American-spec model will still feature a traditional gear lever, in contrast to international variants that have rotary gear selectors. Generally speaking, the inside is classic Kia: uncomplicated, practical, and well-equipped. Additionally, new functionality will be made available. Two USB ports are located in the front and two are located in the back of the 2024 Seltos. If you choose the SX Sunroof Package, the crossover can also be ordered with a power liftgate and ventilated front seats.
2024 Kia Seltos Engine
The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that Kia modified now produces 195 horsepower overall, an increase of 20 horsepower. In order to eliminate the clunky nature of the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the most powerful engine is now mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0-liter engine continues to produce 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, while the company’s Intelligent Variable Transmission transfers that power to the wheels (CVT). Of course, buyers have the option to select front- or all-wheel drive versions.
2024 Kia Seltos Price & Release date
The 2024 Seltos are anticipated to hit showrooms in the first half of 2023, though prices have not yet been released.
