The K5 fits in a small gap between the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry with five seats and a length of 193.1 inches. Although it has 35.2 inches of back legroom and 37.8 inches of rear headroom, this vehicle has less legroom than the competitors by three to five inches. 16 cubic feet of cargo space are available, and foldable seatbacks are standard.The LXS has an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, while the GT-Line has a 10.3-inch screen with navigation, SiriusXM, and remote services. There are two different powerplant options for the K5. With the exception of the GT, all grades come standard with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The GT instead has a huge 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission (with a torque converter) is used with the less powerful engine, and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is used with the more powerful engine. All-wheel drive is only available on the GT-Line for $1,700, and front-wheel drive is the default.
