2023 Kia K5–LXS, GT-Line, EX, and GT are the four trim options offered for the Kia K5. The lowest trim is now the 2023 Kia K5 LXS, however it is no longer offered with all-wheel drive; only the GT-Line grade offers it now.
2023 Kia K5 Exterior
With standout LED daytime running lights, illuminated door handles, body-color heated door mirrors, remote start, proximity entry with a smart trunk, 16-inch alloy rims, and variable wipers, the LXS is well-equipped for the lowest level.A distinctive front and back bumper, gloss-black mirrors, LED headlights and turn signals, a black rear spoiler, LED fog lights, a clean dashed row of premium-looking LED taillights, and distinctive 18-inch alloy wheels all serve to visually distinguish the GT Line. A panoramic roof with a power sunshade, and additional gloss-black exterior trim are included with the $1,000 GT-Line Panoramic Sunroof Package.Although the EX has distinctive 18-inch wheels, gloss-black exterior trim, and design that is identical to the LXS level.The GT trim comes with quad exhaust outlets, larger brakes, more powerful calipers, and 19-inch wheels and wider tires. It also has a sport-tuned suspension.
2023 Kia K5 Interior
The K5 fits in a small gap between the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry with five seats and a length of 193.1 inches. Although it has 35.2 inches of back legroom and 37.8 inches of rear headroom, this vehicle has less legroom than the competitors by three to five inches. 16 cubic feet of cargo space are available, and foldable seatbacks are standard.The LXS has an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, while the GT-Line has a 10.3-inch screen with navigation, SiriusXM, and remote services. Six speakers are used to produce sound, while the EX and GT trims also provide a Bose sound system. One front and two rear USB charging outlets are standard across the board, and the GT-Line trim adds a wireless phone charger.
2023 Kia K5 Engine
There are two different powerplant options for the K5. With the exception of the GT, all grades come standard with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The GT instead has a huge 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission (with a torque converter) is used with the less powerful engine, and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is used with the more powerful engine. All-wheel drive is only available on the GT-Line for $1,700, and front-wheel drive is the default.
2023 Kia K5 Price & Release date
Although we don’t yet know the exact release date for the next K5, it seems sense to assume that it will debut around the end of 2022. The base price range for the 2023 Kia K5 is $26,185 to $32,585. The Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, and Toyota Camry are just a few examples of competitors the 2023 Kia K5 may face off against.
