2023 Hyundai Veloster N–Hyundai made the announcement that the Veloster N would no longer be offered in the United States at the end of June. In reality, given that the non-N Veloster was also killed last year, this shouldn’t be shocking. The business will instead concentrate on vehicles like the Kona N and Elantra N.
2023 Hyundai Veloster N Exterior
The sticker placed on the side window is the first thing that leads us to believe that this is not your typical Veloster N. The phrase “vehicle with high-voltage technology” is written in German as “Fahrzeug with Hochvolttechnik.” Additionally, the plug-in lid is already integrated into the bodywork and is not only provisorily attached. The plug-in cap is square in comparison to the fuel filler cap’s round shape. A few other design features will further set this prototype apart from the conventional variant. More cooling for the powertrain is provided by a redesigned left air inlet from the front bumper. A second gasoline filler cap that is built into the bodywork is located on the driver’s side and has a different design than the left air intake in the side panel. Additionally, the wheels are new and have a unique design that is not currently offered on the Veloster N.
2023 Hyundai Veloster N Interior
The Veloster N features four seats and offers 44.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down, or 19.9 cubic feet with them up. It has an eight-inch touchscreen with navigation and smartphone mirroring on the inside. It comes with an eight-speaker Infinity audio system that includes an amplifier and subwoofer.
2023 Hyundai Veloster N Engine
Although there aren’t any specifics about the Veloster N Hybrid’s powertrain just yet, we anticipate it to be similar to the previous Hyundai hybrid vehicles. This means that a small battery pack, an electric motor, and the car’s conventional 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine will be combined. The electric motor should add another 50–60 horsepower for a total of 300–310 horsepower when combined with the 250 horsepower that the gasoline engine produces. We anticipate that the sprint from 0 to 60 mph will take less time—5.0 seconds—while the highest speed will stay at 155 mph.
2023 Hyundai Veloster N Price & Release date
The 2023 Veloster N’s exact release date hasn’t been announced by Hyundai, but we anticipate it will go on sale sometime in the fall. The Veloster N was the most costly vehicle in the lineup, and since 2023 isn’t expected to see much changes, its MSRP is probably going to stay around $33,545.
