2023 HYUNDAI TUCSON–The Hyundai Tucson debuted in 2022 with a striking new appearance and a ton of other changes. The 2023 Tucson will be a carryover model for this new crossover, which is only entering its second model year.
2023 HYUNDAI TUCSON Exterior
With unique body lines and creases, flared wheel arches, a powerful grille flanked by skinny headlights, and stacked accent lighting, the latest Hyundai Tucson has a crisp, fresh look. It also has a beautiful backside with an LED light bar and slash-like taillights. We anticipate the 2023 Tucson to be almost identical because it will only be starting its second model year with this design.

The Tucson’s interior features a striking design that incorporates a push-button gearbox, an optional digital instrument cluster, a 64-color mood-lighting system, a full-width HVAC vent, a wide-screen 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and more. More trims will now come standard with several capabilities, including Dynamic Voice Recognition, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. But inside the 2023 Tucson, no significant design changes are anticipated.The latest Tucson has not yet undergone a crash test by the IIHS, but we do know that it comes standard with active lane control, rear occupant alerts, and automatic front emergency braking. Blind-spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, surround-view cameras, rear automatic braking, front and rear parking sensors, and blind-spot cameras are all available safety features. We anticipate that the 2023 Tucson will continue to provide these safety measures.
2023 HYUNDAI TUCSON engine
The 2022 Tucson has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine as standard equipment, and it is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission to provide 187 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. The 180-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter engine in the hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants will replace that one, producing a total of 226 hp when coupled with electric motors. A six-speed automatic transmission handles this power. Front-wheel drive is standard on the Tucson base model, although all-wheel drive is an option. All-wheel drive is standard on hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles. We anticipate that the Tucson’s powertrain options will not change in 2023.
2023 HYUNDAI TUCSON Price & Release date
The 2023 Tucson won’t be on sale until either in the fall of 2022 or the spring of 2023, but that’s when we anticipate it to show up. Although the price hasn’t been announced, we anticipate the 2023 Tucson to remain in the $26,135–$38,535 MSRP range of the 2022 Tucson.
This compact crossover will go up against the Nissan Rogue, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4.
