2023 Hyundai Palisade–The Hyundai Palisade is one of the greatest three-row SUVs on the market, thanks to its strong appearance, large cabin, and excellent warranty. It helped Hyundai set a new sales record in early 2022, and as long as you can find a Palisade without foul-smelling seats, there’s not much this vehicle can’t do well. We now have new confidential information about the 2023 Palisade, following a modest upgrade for the 2022 model year. A reader of oto-geek.com was shopping for a new Palisade online and accidently came across a paper about the 2023 model on the automaker’s website, which he instantly emailed to us. To say the least, the modifications are extensive.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Exterior
Our photos spotted a refurbished Palisade in February, but we can now confirm that the exterior will be completely redone.All of the bumpers, grilles, headlights, wheels, and mirrors will be replaced. The Palisade does not appear to be very different in photographs from the paper, but the bottom frame of the grille is thinner. The outside photographs highlighted in yellow look to be of the pre-facelift model, with the highlighted parts indicating where improvements will be made. Rainforest will be removed from the color palette, and Robust Emerald will be added in its place. New features include auto-dimming side mirrors with integrated turn signals.Hyundai will introduce a new XRT trim to join the trend of robust moderate off-roaders such as the Honda Passport TrailSport, while the SEL Convenience trim will be discontinued. Dark 20-inch wheels, “rugged” lower bumpers with skid plate inserts, a dark grille finish, higher roof rails, and a power sunroof are all standard features on the XRT. All-wheel drive will be available as an option, and there will be a new Tow Mode.

In the cabin, there will be even more drastic modifications. A 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation will replace the existing eight- and 10.25-inch touchscreens. Dynamic speech recognition, a full-display rearview mirror, hydrophobic windows, remote smart park assist, the Digital Key 2.0, and Bluelink upgrades are all new, albeit some trim-specific features are available.Interior design and quality appear to be going up a level. The upper dashboard, instrument cluster, floor console trim, steering wheel, and seating surfaces are all said to be brand new, according to the paper.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Powertrain
Aside from the new Tow Mode, there appear to be no mechanical changes. That means the 3.8-liter GDI V6 engine with 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque will remain unchanged. It’s mated to an automatic transmission with eight gears.

The 2023 Hyundai Palisade looks to be a significant upgrade over the current model, with new aesthetics, greater technology, and a rugged XRT option. The price of the 2023 Palisade was not revealed in the paper, but Hyundai has announced that it will be available this summer.
