2023 Audi A6–To demonstrate the brand’s advancement in technology and quality for the premium class, Audi is adding certain updated available and standard features to a large portion of its lineup for the 2023 model year. That also includes the A6, which has advanced from the 2022 model year through general improvements and the addition of new dynamic technology.
2023 Audi A6 Exterior & Interior
Changes to the interior and exterior’s appearance appear to be mostly dependent on the model, trim level, and package picked.
The heated rear seats, the LED interior lighting plus kit, and the leather package, which includes a leather console, dash, and armrests, are now included in the S6’s Premium Plus specification. A power open and close trunk and LED interior lighting plus package are also included in the Executive package for the S6, while the all-new Audi Sport stitching package adds Express red contrast stitching to the door armrests, center armrest, center console, shifter, seats, and seatbelts in a black interior. Last but not least, the A6 Allroad and RS 6 Avant’s Prestige version now has a black Dinamica headliner.
Safety
The trim level determines whether safety equipment is either standard or optional. Adaptive cruise assist with lane guiding is now standard on the Premium trim with the Convenience package on the A6 45 and A6 S line 55. While the Premium Plus trim receives a complete complement of driver aid technology, the Executive package now also features adaptive cruise assist with lane guiding. Remote park assist plus, which can be triggered through the MyAudi app and uses the car’s sensors to identify exit and entry points in parking scenarios, is now a feature of the Prestige trim on all models of the A6.
2023 Audi A6 Engine
There are four different powerplant options available for the five models in the A6 series. A 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine paired with a S tronic transmission powers the A6 45 at first. The 3.0 liter, 6-cylinder A6 S line 55 and A6 Allroad with S tronic transmission come next. The 2.9-liter 6-cylinder engine and Tiptronic transmission that power the S6 are said to generate 444 horsepower. The RS 6 Avant, which has an 8-cylinder, 4.0-liter engine and a Tiptronic transmission, ranks last.
2023 Audi A6 Price & Release date
Although Audi hasn’t provided a particular release date, the 2023 A6 is most likely to go on sale in late 2022 or early 2023. Depending on the trim level and model, prices can vary significantly. The A6’s MSRP ranges from $55,900 for the base model to an astounding $116,500 for the speciality trim. The 2023 Audi A6 might find itself fighting against models like the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class, Lexus LS, Genesis G90, Porsche Taycan, Acura RLX-Sedan, and BMW 8-Series in the luxury sedan market, which is still going strong.
